Custom painted shoes!

So i had an impulse! I saw White shoes and a video on instagram which meant that I had to paint custom shoes 😂 yeah, typical neurodivergent behavior. Also I know that this is a late blogpost, but I promise to add more posts more regularly.

So! Shoes! Customized Like 2-3 months ago 😂 still very fun project that I will continue to do into the future since I really liked it. On the other hand, I do need to finish some other stuff before I can pick up painting shoes again.

I taught myself the preparation of painting shoes from YouTube. Short story: acetone swabbing completely white sneakers! I picked white adidas, since I like adidas very much. I then had to put masking tape in all spots that should NOT get paint on. This process was much harder than expected…

Then after that, you can start painting. picked a few spots that I liked that fit well with the design of the shoe, and then started the sketching the cubistical lines with an acrylic pen.

It took about 20-30 hours of work until they were finished! I also sprayed them with a laquer to help the paint stay on the shoes.

I really love the look of these shoes!
